Healthy Eating

It is never too late to start eating healthy.  With so many people posting delicious photos on so many social media platforms, who wouldn't want to jump on the band wagon to a healthier you...?!

 

Who doesn't love Quinoa?  You can incorporate so many different types of ingredients with Quinoa.  This time around I have added the following ingredients:

~ 1 can Black beans
~ 1 can Hominy
~ 1 small cucumber
~ 2 Roma tomatoes
~ 2 small gloves of garlic
~ Cilantro (chopped)
~ Jalapeno (if you like it hot)

The dressing :
~ Olive oil
~ Fresh Lime Juice
~ Dash of roasted Cummin
~ Dash of Corriander

How would you like more views on your Pins on Pinterest...?

If you are an Etsy shop owner, you may be concerned about using Pinterest to gain views and followers.  In order to do this we must keep up on marketing strategies.  This includes how to use social media sites to benefit your business.  Recently I have read that using "Long Pins" are more beneficial than short pins.

What is a long pin..? Right? If you are an avid Pinterest user such as myself, you have seen many long pins but probably did not realize it had a name.  Basically a long pin is a collection of photos that take up more space than a single photo.

I decided to give this strategy a try... I used photoshop to create a collection of my most popular items from my Etsy shop. Here is the Long Pin:

What's new for Spring and Summer at Hapa Girls

It's been a while since I have updated my blog.  I have been completely swamped since listing the Starfish Coral adjustable ring.  The response I have had for this ring has been more than amazing!!!! In fact my fabrication time went from 1-2 weeks to 5-6 weeks for about 4 months. 

I have recently caught up on much of my orders and now am running about 3-4 weeks on fabrication times.

What's new for spring?

I am trying out some new OOAK designs for spring so if you are not following me on Face book, you may want to start.  I always post all new listings there first.

Bring on the Summer Sun!

Summer is my favorite time of year and I am excited to be adding new beachy jewelry to my shop.  I will also be collaborating with my sister of Urban Corner.  She has some awesome crocheted necklaces and bracelets that will be the perfect accessories for summers hottest fashion trends.

For the Love of February!

How could anyone not love February?  After all, the month is gushing with the colors RED and PINK, signs of love and heart shaped EVERYTHING!!  Valentine's Day will be here soon!

I  love February because I get to celebrate my birthday!!!! Yay right?  For those of you who do like to celebrate your birthday this may all seem exciting.  However, when your birthday is only 2 days after Valentine's Day, the two separate celebrations seem to turn into one combination celebration!!! I guess it is kind of like having your birthday fall on Christmas! Regardless of the "combo" celebration, having the two so close gives me the perfect excuse to celebrate my birthday all week long!

In celebration of both occasions, I have gathered a few gift ideas for those of you who are not sure what to give someone whose Birthday falls so close to Valentine's Day.
