Well, I have done it again! I found this weeks featured artist on flickr!! Pamela of prettydreamer creates wood toys for the kids in all of us!
My personal favorite of the four I have chosen is the wood tool set. I love woodworking and love the tools even more. So naturally when I saw this set I knew I wanted one for myself. Of course I will give it to my daughter!! The snake push toy and the stacking modern flowers are classics and every child should have one. The last item I chose was the, Jeweled Caverns and Dragon's Den. It is a great puzzle idea that can be played with 2- dimensionally or 3- dimensionally. I think this toy will bring out any child's imagination!
Although these are just four of my favorites, prettydreamer has much, much more in her shop. I believe that handmade wood toys are meant to be kept for a very long time and then passed on to grandchildren and so on. I think Pamela has a true gift in putting great thought and creativity into her wood toys.

This Monday's featured items are from HollieLollie
While I was on flickr, doing my usual uploading of new photos to the groups I belong to, I came across Hollie Lollie! Right away I was drawn to the photographs of her work. The clarity, colors and composition of her photos made me want to take a closer look at her Etsy shop. I have to say, I was not disappointed. The items I have chosen to feature are just a few of my favorites. I love embellishments so I couldn't resist the magnets and push pins. I also love the fabric combination of her bunting banner. Lastly, I can't leave out her beautiful hair pins! I just love pink and brown together.
I am really glad I found Hollie Lollie on flickr and hope that many more people use that outlet to find great artist and crafters!
Trot on down to Hollie Lollie's etsy shop. You won't be disappointed.

This is my latest creation! 3 bangle bracelets with a removable cherry blossom charm. The charm doubles as a clasp to keep the bangles together. The bracelet can be worn separately or together as one piece. So far it is the only one I have made! tell me what you think.

This weeks featured items are from CardsandNotes.
I found CardsandNotes while I was promoting in the Etsy forums! When I took a look at her shop I was instantly drawn to her mini matchbook note pads and mini thank you notes. I love the idea of having something small that will fit in my purse. Though I have only displayed a few of my favorites from CardsandNotes, there are many great gift ideas to choose from. I truly believe no one can ever have enough stationary!!!
Jot on down to CardsandNotes and have a peek!!

This weeks featured items are from 1pixieplace
This is just a sample of the many cute hair pins she has in her shop. The Hedgehog I spy bag is what caught my attention!! Her craftsmanship and detail are impressive. Anyone that visits her shop can tell she puts a lot of care into her craft. She also has a variety of great Hawaiian style gift ideas for babies. All of the prints used on her onsies are original art thus making her gifts truly one of a kind. Fly on over to 1pixieplace and have a look!!
